Extension to Existing Dwelling , Banchory, Aberdeenshire, 2008
The client for this new build bungalow house in Banchory required additional and more open plan living space. The existing dining room and kitchen was opened out to form a more attractive and liveable space which moves into a new sun room extension. The sun room brings day light and heat into the property by means of a full height glazed gable and provides easy access into the garden patio.
The house was extended to the detached garage providing additional space for a new utility, bathroom and kitchen. At the same time the two door garage was brought forward to form a single door garage and addtitional work space was provided to the rear.
