Set in rural Aberdeenshire the clients for this 2 storey granite property were keen to modernise the appearance and improve the overall insulation envelope.

 A  boot room and utility with access to the garage and to the kitchen replaced a tired glazed conservatory to the rear of the property.  The granite external wall was left exposed in the internal utility and the addition of shadow lighting adds detail to  this element. The exterior is finished in a white render and horizontal western red cedar timber cladding.

The existing 2 storey extension was modernised with replacement windows and western red cedar timber vertical cladding. Bringing this large glazed feature up to date with a more contemporary design.
